Carl Griffin
Since Carl and his family joined the Deer Creek Congregation in 2016, Carl has found serving opportunities in several areas. With a heart in congregational singing, Carl serves as a song leader and reaches out to retirement communities and a memory care unit. Most recently, for times of worship, singing old well-known hymns. A heart of encouragement has spurred Carl to teach Bible classes, and stay in touch with church members in various ways.
Forrest Buxton
Forrest and Delores were married in 1972 and have three children and five grandchildren.
They have served as Bible teachers wherever they have attended and are active with National Evangelism With Sojourners and World Bible School.
Prior to coming to Deer Creek in 2014, Forrest had served as an elder in one congregation, and as a deacon in three others.
Trai Evans
Trai Evans is an Oklahoma native serving as the evangelist here at the Deer Creek Church of Christ going on his second year. He moved to us with his wife Danielle and their son from the Gastonia Church of Christ in North Carolina.
Joe Patterson
Since Joe and his family began worshiping at Deer Creek, Joe has served in a many ways for the congregation and most recently, as the deacon over our children's Bible classes.
Grant Hill
Grant and his family have been faithful members of the Deer Creek congregation for many years and have served in various roles and volunteered for different projects or mission works. Grant serves most recently as our deacon over missions and worship.
Kent Girard
Kent and his family have served in the Deer Creek congregation since 2017 in various projects, volunteer efforts and lending a hand to those who need help. Kent is our deacon over building and grounds.
